6

In honor of Black History Month, SparkYouth is excited to celebrate five visionary Black nonprofit leaders who are making history in NYC!

Yamilée Toussaint Beach (STEM From Dance), Tony Hillery (Harlem Grown), Katrena Perou (Inspiring Minds NYC), Evin Robinson (America on Tech), and Nitiya Walker (Seeds of Fortune) are leading incredibly impactful youth development organizations that SparkYouth is proud and honored to support!

“SparkYouth helps Seeds of Fortune create equitable opportunities for girls of color across the city; we give our students tools that empower them to get out there, make connections, and grasp as many opportunities as possible.”
-Nitiya Walker, Executive Director, Seeds of Fortune
